182 Oil

GOing to have a look in the handbook (but dont have it with me). What do you guys think is the best oil to use on a 2004 182 and what grade?

Yep, 5w-40 or 0w-40 full synthetic as the quality choice, as a real cost option you can use 10w-40 semi.

Everyone has their own opinon on brand and some are much better than others.

If you stick with a well known brand 5w-40 you cannot go wrong.

What would happen if you used 10w40 semi synthetic ?

Is it a case of just not as much protection as fully synthetic ? :S

What are the pros and cons of running semi synthetic ?

And fully synthetic ?
 
Nothing will happen.

Synthetics last longer and protect better while they are in there over the mineral based oils.

If you go semi synthetic change it on a more regular basis.
