182 - Quick toxic warning light question

My 182 has just bee into renault for a leak to be sorted.
Anyways got it back all fixed but now the exhaust toxic warning light is on. Now i have a pro speed cat back exhaust but it has NEVER put the light on before, only since renault have had it.
Called them today and they said it will be becuase of it being moved several times and not had a proper run. He says if i take it for a long drive it will turn off on its own in time But i have done about 40 miles since collecting it and still on.
I knw if i take it back to them they are gonna fob me off with having a prospeed cat back.

Ideas?

3 cold starts re-sets it. if that doesnt work get em to check the lambda sensors

leave it so the engine is cold, ie overnight..

i been at work since 8 and finish at 2. If i go out to my car and start it, turn it off straight away three times this should reset it? Thanks

alright for some, mine never went off, but they warrantied the lamda sensor although the guy in the parts department had never heard of a lambda sensor, so I said 'Oxygen Sensor' and he goes "ahhh OK" gives me faith in my local Reno dealer!
