182 Satnav question

Someone has asked th efollowing question

Told by the dealer

"Sat Nav was NOT full colour screen as the brouchure says and was just a linear arrow that pops up in the orange screen where the clock is etc...."



Is this correct?

Ive heard that the full colour sat nav is no longer available for 182s :/

If thats true do like I have done, forget the reno sat nav and get a PDA and Tomtom 3 kit for your car, cheaper and you get a PDA as well!!

zetec, are the the guy that emailed me?

if so I have replied. It is available I have it, in fact its the only one that is available for the renaultsport clio, same went for the 172.

Its in the latest brochure and havnt heard anything otherwise.

No liam that was not me im afraid. Thanks for your answears any way so far.

It has been deleted from the range from october build onwards cars

you can no longer have full colour screen navigation in any clio.

will this make the cars with it worth anymore ???

andyb, do you know the reason why? have they ran out of hardware stock?

glad I got it now, dunno if it will keep prices higher, hope so.

hope also there aint any problems should i need spares for it etc

there wasnt alot of take up for it in the uk ,

the hardware and software is the same as on the espace and laguna so no problems with parts.

and there will be an updated dvd based system at the begining of next year with quicker more detailed mapping .
