182 steering wheel - melted?

Hey all,

has anyone else suffered this problem. The rubber hand grip on the steering wheel of my 182 (where your thumb sits) has split. Can you get replacements for it, or would it be a whole new steering wheel?

phone up renault customer services and complain that its failed just out of warranty. I had the same issue (albeit mine had been replaced once under warranty) as it failed again out of warranty. They offered to pay 80% of a new one
