could anyone tell me if its possible to put the airbag off a nonsport wheel onto a 182 wheel?

Yes they are all the same in Ph.2 models. Only difference is with cruise control or without, but you can cut the airbag for the cruise control's button if necessary.

it is a 182 cruise control steering wheel i have with the buttons taken off it, leaving gaps where they have been. so i would be able to put my nonsport airbag on it that comes off my nonsport wheel?

Yes, you can use the standard model's airbag in RS182 wheel.
