182 stuttering and juddering

Car  Titanium 182
Got in my car today, turned it over and it was idling lumpy. Waited a good 5 minutes for her to warm up. When driving id put my foot down a little and it would start to stutter and judder, then it would be fine and shoot off after a 2-3 second delay. Gonna change the spark plugs and leads (and coil pack when i have time) Has this happened to you and what was the cure?
Many thanks, Niki.

Seems to be running on 3 cylinders, getting worse. The engine management light flashes on and off when I'm rolling. Hope its nothing expensive :(

I've had a very similar problem recently, but without any warning lights present - I've started a thread about it this week....

Anyway, I've changed the plugs/leads/coil pack to no avail. I did however switch the lambda sensors over this afternoon, which resulted in much better running and I've no got two new sensors on order.

Try switching the sensors over to see if it clears up....

Ahh yeah i just read your thread mate, this problem is starting to piss me off a little lol! I'll get it on a diagnostic tomorrow, see what that says. I will have a little play about with the sensors to see if its that, Thanks.

Yes will definitely have a check tomorrow for the simple things chris.
Thanks Lewis, I'll check no water has found its way anywhere as its been very damp recently.
Ahh that would be brilliant bud, if the problem persists I'll give you a shout Lewis, if you don't mind that is :)

That's fine, I had the same problem before was leads and plugs, hopefully it is for you so it's a simple fix

Yeah course Chris I'm no back till saturday but will be happy to help :)

Problem solved, got some new plugs and leads. when changing the plugs i found a little moisture and rust on the plugs. She runs fine now, just glad it was not anything too expensive :)
