182 to 1.2 wheel spacers

Dont necessarily need spacers, Ive got 172 alloys on my 1.2.. had to take the rear archliners out..

The rears are about 3mm off the rear shock covers, But i think theyve worn through now lol !

depends on the tyre wideness, Im running 195, if it was 205mm wide i think you'd need 10mm spacers.

(ive got some im not using PM if you want them)

If you wouldn't mind mate, I really want them but can't afford to buy stuff for it to be useless at that price ;)

i ran 182 wheels on 205 tyres fine on a mk2 no problems apart from when i went round corners it seemed like the back wheels rubbed

So so far the verdict is they fit alright but may want slight alterations one day? (not urgent)

yeah i think so, if i were u i might look at getting just 3mm spacers if you want to be sure, theyre pretty cheap and you dont need longer bolts

Just to clear things up. I bought 182 alloys off baines a week ago and fitted them to my 1.2 8v mk2 ph2 and the front fit fine (even full lock for mot's) The back rub marginly, the problem with spacers is they are expensive or you buy 3mm spacers and take 3mm off the thread of the bolt (which from an engineering point of view is very bad practice) but a very simple solution is to cut a small ( shape in each of the back, 5 minute solution and will not damage your car at all (I checked with a mechanic aswell)
