182 Tyre Size

Hi,
I have recently been in youch with a guy selling a 182 FF & noticed that the he had put on a new set of 195 size tyres as opposed to 205's.
Could anybody explain if there are any advantages in using size 195 as opposed to the standard size of 205's
The only advantage I could think of is possibly quicker steering?
Any comments/information would be appreciated

They are cheaper - that's the only advantage.

Slightly cheaper and have more stretch, Nothing more & nothing less.

I am considering dropping my 205s down to 195s for my 182? Cannot decide if losing that centimeter is going to have a real effect on the grip if the tyre is decent. Looking at some rainsport 3s. Also surely there would be better mpg's with less rolling friction?
