182 washer question

Right had a wee look through the posts about leaking headlight washers on 172/182s...

and remember reading that someone reached in behind and removed the headlight washer by themselves...

Mine is leaking and i dont want to hand it into renault as they are pish and it will be in for about a week and they will just bugger up my car...

Is their any way into this, i was thinking behind the wheel arch liner (as the engine bay is packed with Sh*t...

is their any way i can botch this to stop it leaking as i hate handing in my car only for it to be sh*t on and handed back to me...

Ps i have NO faith in dealerships....I HATE THEM ALL...

There's not a lot you can do to stop a leak other than replace the stalk completely. Two hour job at a dealers. When I had mine done it came back with a scratch on the wing. It's a bumper off job.

You could botch it by removing the passenger wheel, reaching round the arch liner, finding the 2 pipes that feed the washer jets & blocking them up with something from there.
Failing that, bumper off to get the washer jets...

I've also had problems with my headlamp washer jets on my 172, and both times Renault fixed it on warranty.

I've heard some people having problems getting their bumpers back on properly.
