182 Water under back seat

Has anybody noticed water under the back seats when you lift them up

normally after driving on very wet days

where does the water come from ( and dont say the rain )

and is there a fix ?

proberly seal it my self with aircraft fuel tank sealent because ill do a better job than the YTS boy down at the dealer

BUT WHERE IT COMING FROM ?

i dont get it, but its probably coming from them big plastic plugs , as there the only thing that seperates there from the outside

This has been a problem since the very first MK1 172s.

i found water under my rear seats after it came back from a renault body shop, when they repaired my boot after an accident, basically there was a small hole in the boot just below the left hand light,

have u had any damage repaired lately?

Im also a Sack, though im TG2, been in 4 1/2 yrs, on level 6 pay (nearly 7) so its not too bad running the clio if you know what i mean..I found one of me old level 1 pay slips, could not believe £600 went so far..





It was my first time in the desert for me, only did 5 weeks of the 2 months assigned if you know what i mean..??

Those ommletes at midnite were great! The 5 a side league was great too, all that stopped tho when the flag went up!

I never got that GRITS stuff, and whats up with syrup on everything, i do miss it as of the money you save when you get home, what was up with the alchol free beer in the bx, you can have the smell but not the taste.

I think i ran that fence once, and never again...

I remember having the sh*ts from that flight line cafe, and having to drive a MPV back from the flight line, you know it takes 20 mins to get back...well we flew back just in time to blow me top...

Im the only one who had 7 stiches in me head, and gave the guys a reason to peel rubber on the way to the american surgery for me...no way i was going near the SMO...

dont want to be a civvy you have to work for a livin and you dont get free holidays where you get payed extra to live in hotels

Itll be the seal round the rear window. Leaks into and under the rear seat.

I had the same problem and found 18 pints, yes 18, of water in the spare wheel well.
