So I've a little snag.

When I adjust my headlight vertically, before it gets to the level it should be the connector between headlight leveler and bulb holder pops out of the leveler unit.

Which then means removing the headlight, which is proving tiresome.

Something clearly isn't right so can the rods between the leveler and bulb holder be incorrect ? Or is this a common and oh so easy to fix issue ? At the minute the lights need to go up a lot more to be within limits.

Dave!

Are you leveling the lights with the engine on? I don't think the lights level/save position correctly if not

Also is the arm the adjuster connects too in one piece?

Edit: ignore the last bit, if it wasn't it would have have come out with it

I had the exact same with mine - unfortunately, I cannot tell you what voodoo fixed them.

I had the bumper off and everything towards the end of last year. Different headlight units, pissing about with new replacement adjusters, everything. I think my patience (or lack off) just got the best of me and I called it a day. Being outside in the cold weather didn't exactly help!

Anyways, I spoke to my local garage as I needed the lights to not just be lighting 6ft in front of the car and also got the MOT tagged on for go measure. No idea what they did (the garage did say they were fiddly) - but they've been spot on ever since.

Another design that baffles me as to how s**t both it and the system that operates it, is.
