182 Yozzasport fitment issues

The right hand tailpipe has been sagging since I got it. The mounts are all fine and I'm not sure why it's doing it... I have fitted a decat too. If I twist the backbox slightly, the pipes no longer line up and I get a blow.

Any ideas what I can do? I would have thought it'd be a mount issue but the actual full backbox sits slanted, pointing down to the right.

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
I've tried adjusting a few. They seem to either be very good, or nowhere near, so if they don't fit first time, they wont improve

Mine was slightly off-ish I just loosened all the bolts De-cat section bolts too, got some power flex mounts sorted drilled them so it would sit right even though the holes are uneven in each one then fit it so it looked good then tightened the bolts up once it was sat right with loads of exhaust silicone imbetween the joints :)

All fine and dandy after that :)

(the right exit pipe was slightly higher than the left before alterations)

everyone ive seen fitted by fred whilst at his workshop has been perfect, im not being bias just fact. he even kicks off if they are off during fitting spending time to sort it himself so maybe let him post before anything else. and he will when he's back jamie :)

Yeah instead of trying to adjust at the backbox try adjusting the decat onto the manifold and the then de cat onto the centre section so that the backbox flange isn't changed but it all twists round slightly.

Cheers mate, what decat did you have fitted?

Ahh okay, didn't realise he was away. I sent him a PM so hopefully he can give me some advice :)

I'll give that a go, not sure if it'll affect it but it's worth trying. The decat seems to come from the manifold pointing downwards (slightly), but connects to the backbox upwards (if that makes any sense).

I have got a yozza de-cat m8

It all fits right u just to loosen off the setup then tighten everything again once lined up :)

I didn't fit it to be fair, it was wonky when I bought it on the car. The mounts are all fine (one has sockets in to bring it to it's original height) so I'm not sure what to do next. Would twisting the full decat help as recommended?

I may be paying you a visit anyway in the near future, belts have been done but the fecking dephaser hasn't!

Is the Scorpion decat fine with the Yozza system fitment-wise? Both decats look the same.

Need to know as a Yozza one has just become available but don't want to be spending more money if the Scorpion one will do the same job.

It fits aye, can I make it fit well? Like I say if I twist the backbox, it seperates a bit and I get a blow. Should I be twisting the full decat to get it at a better angle?

Google Maps says 2 hours to B33 0SL. I wanted to have a bash at it myself before taking it somewhere, can anyone provide any more advice in case twisting the decat around doesn't work?

Ta!

I get the feeling with out being able to see it then Fred isn't going to be able to offer you any advise as is nobody else really, there are somany things that could cause it not to be sitting right. I made the journey to get fred to fit mine and it was a journey well spent as it sits spot on even with shagged rear exhaust mounts.

My advice would be to slacken the bolts off on the joins, adjust, re-tighten.

Failing that I'd buy new mounts. Genuine ones.

It the mounts are all fine apart from the one with the sockets in, but that sits higher than the others... yet that's the side that sags! Looks like I'll be taking it to a pro haha.

Jesus - post up a picture of the exhaust from the underside , this might help people diagnose the problem.

Slackening off and refitting as suggested above is worthwhile too especially if you haven't done this yet
