195/45/16s on standard suspension

Will i have any rubbing issues fitting them as is to my 1.6 dynamique? The car isnt lowered at the mo.

when i do lower it, looking at a 40mm drop, will i need to do anything to avoid rubbing issues etc.

Looking for help who have these size tyres on their clios.

I've got 205/45/16's on mine with a 40mm drop and I get no rubbing at all

thats cool, so no need for spacers or anything?

So long as the wheels you're putting on have an offset near enough ET37 you'll be fine

Nope They're et45 and there's at least an inch or so between the edge of the tyre and the shock.

the wheels i have are some 16" 172 alloys, not sure what the offset is on these, just presumed they would be the same as my standard 15" dynamique alloys.
