Hi all.
I am fitting a 197 engineinto my 182, I know not everyone on here agrees with this but does allow you touse the 6 speed box.
I am looking to run Jenvey TBas I currently have a set but Jenvey don’t do a manifold for the 197 head becausethere is not enough room to fit them on a Mk3. I have checked around and the onlysupplier I can find is Chadil, these are circa £265 delivered. I haveapproached Pepper Performance who make bike carb manifolds for the 172 / 182,they have quoted £150 to make a fabricated manifold. So if anyone else is alsoconsidering going the same route drop them a mail – they advertise on ebay.
Anyone know of anyone elsewho make a manifold for the 197 before I send of the templates.
