197 - A good Police car?

Im not sure a 3 door hatch is an ideal Police car, infact i ve never seen a 3 door police car.

Over here theres a police focus rs, blue and where the white stripes are normally around the bottom of the doors it says police in white, and a 3dr golf r32. I always wanted to see someone trying to be put in the back :rasp:

Lothian and Borders have an A3 Quattro Sport Back 3 door don't know if its the 3.2 V6 or the desiel , as they couldn't drive their E class fast enough through town traffic. Theres been a few mock ups, Lotus Esprit,
Elise

or the Italians had lambo's

Sussex have a Lotus Exige in full police livery. Apparently though, it's not used for pursuits or general patrol duties. It's supposedly for turning up at cruises to educate the "yoof" about road safety.
