197 alloys

Hi, would I get rubbing problems if I fitted a set of 17" 197 alloys to my clio dynamique SX 1.2 2007? And do they fit straight forwardly.. i.e. same offset etc? Would probably need to drop it around 35-40mm too for it to sit right.

197 wheels are 5studs. IIRC non RS Mk3 Clio are 4 studs.

5 studs mate. Wont be able to do it unless you get adapter plates which is a pain in the arse, i would just go for other alloys.

Oh right, never thought to check that, just assumed all clios would be the same stud fitment :-(. Will probably just look into spraying mine anthracite and lowering it then. Are there any lowering springs/ suspension/ coilover kits made yet for the new clio dynamique sx (2007)? Cheers
