197 Buying Advice

Hello CS.

I'm looking to buy a brand new 197 but am unsure what they go for these days. Looking to part ex and finance. My old car is worth about £3500. Any rough ideas on the price I should be looking to pay?

Can you still order new 197's? Would be a mistake IMO, the residuals will take a hit early on due to the release of the 200. I'd go for a nearly new one, or a late R27.

I got a bargain buying nearly new, it's a buyers market at the moment so see what your local dealer can offer.

Order books have closed for brand new customer orders, ready for the new fishface 200.

You might be able to get a new one from stock at a dealers? ex showroom?

Ordered my brand new 197 Cup Saturday they have stopped making them if you want one buy now before they run out! Mines in Nimbus, Satin alloys with air con.

I Paid £13,645 in total not bad me thinks for a car listed at £14,995.

Don't like the new 200, front looks nasty compared to 197 hence the speedy purchase ;-)

Pick it up on 30th March can't wait to get rid of the C2 VTS such an awful car!

Mine is a cup with all the extras, the past couple of cars I have always bought from new but with this one I bought second hand. I don't regret buying used but it's just an option to consider.
