225/35/18 pirelli pzero nero's and they feel amazing! I was expecting the worst but it really does feel the same if not better, the steering seems to be lighter.
Ah yea, I've just done the a size calculator here http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html and they're the closest aren't they, smaller difference than worn tyres would make! Do you get any problems with scrubbing or rubbing on full lock/over bumps?
ahh now i find the size calculator! I literally guessed (with a bit of help from the manager of my local tyre place) There's no problems whatsoever, obviously the tyres are wider but it's fine. When i put my old new wheels side by side the new ones were about 1cm smaller in height. I'm now screaming coilovers in my sleep. Ur's is the F1 right? if it's liquid yellow? it'd look rapid, even more of an upgrade for you as the contrast between the yellow and anthracite looks crazy!
Spot on. Had H&R's on all three of my Renaultsports (172 Cup/182) and now the 197. The ride is a tad firmer than mine (non cup chassis) so imo wouldn't be far off what yours feels like now. They are a quality piece of kit, very refined, not harsh or anything. Its great for the B roads by me, with no catching/scrubbing what so ever. Love it tbh, only things i'm changing on the car is to get my spare curbed set of alloys done in Black/Anthricite..... and *maybe* a cup spoiler (did i say that??)!
No dont get a cup spoiler, they're way too much! *cough CHAVVY cough* How much did ur's drop by? If i did change the springs i wouldnt want it more than 30mm.
Re the cup spolier, thats what i thought, have you seen one in the flesh? Changed my mind, still not sure, and probably wont but who knows lol!!!! Its dropped a fair bit tbh, the rears have another 10 mm ish to go (maybe more) and the fronts have another 30mm of thread left lol. I just wound it down and tweked till i was happy. Then got the tracking adjusted after it settled Not messed with it since
