197 Exhaust.

Hi,

Flexi's on the 197 have gone - I'm looking to just buy a Toyosport manifold to replace. Has anyone used one of these before - feedback?

What would be the best way to drop the old manifold out? Subframe etc out or engine out?

Also, the standard 197 has 2 cats where as the toyosport only has the one cat - is this an mot failure on emissions?

Lots of people on 197.net have the toyosport manifold and only thing they say is that the car may need a slight notch in the chasis to stop it rubbing/rattling.

As long as the car haas one cat left, it'll go through MOT fine.

Ah fair - yeah, saw the thread you linked George but not sold it to me yet.

i think it's gonna be the cheapest option though, no?
