197 cup 08/08 got trade in value of £9K back in early Nov must be getting to near your budget now.

I've waited 2 months without a car & in that time prices have dropped £2K, roll on Jan

all subjective of course but a 197 looks far far far better than any meggy.

I parked my car up the other day and saw an Albi Blue 197 drive past and thought "wow". Then I smiled, because I thought I own one of those!

I have never seen one close up driving past really and they look the boll0x.

I think they're both great-looking cars

lol car prices are relative to really, my car is loosing cash as fast as the meggys and clios.
The 225 f1 at 9k looks like a steal, it looks a bit lary tho
I looked at the focus st a few months ago as well but the running costs are madness. Same sort of money as the meggy tho.
Im still leaning towards the 197 tho.
Im deffo gonna have to test drive both.
