Right then.. before i baught my 182 i did all the research with difference between

182
182 cup
182 cup packs whatever

can someone explain the 197, 197 cup and the R27 please?

197 Cup is the basic one without all the toys, but has the Cup chassis as standard

197 has more toys/extras but Cup chassis is optional

R27 is a limited edition 197 which is basically a Cup Chassis 197 with stickers

R27 comes with Recaros which is an option for the other models

Pretty much spot on.

Get the 197 with Recaro's and Cup chassis or the R27 if you like the stickers/LY for the best of both worlds.

Not really.

Everything you get on the R27 you can spec on the 197. The R27 was limited to 500 though came with a plaque with its number and was stickered up on the outside.

The trophy has options you couldn't get on a normal 182 (like the suspention kit)

You want as late as poss to get the revised box etc.
Only the very last r27's have this.

Meh, revised box is only a few 100 rpm difference in 5th & 6th. Internals are the same
