probably because of the cup/s they new it would get the new quickest lap time lol!

To be fair the 182 is the only hot hatch a can remember being reviewed on TG. (and no its not coz its the best lol)

JT posted about this on another thread. We give them / offer them the cars to test - they then decide which to show on air etc. Unfortunatley, the Series is too short and TG is not an actual Car review show anymore !!

IIRC - Twingo RS is on this series !

its been on fifth gear a few times, and they reviewed the R27 on their website

Clarkson did rip into the 197 cup in a newspaper motoring review, and said it was like pushing a piano up a hill, so perhaps Ren didnt want to donate one for a test.

Clarkson's review wasn't exactly glowing. He complained about the weight.

Mind you, he complains about pretty much any car that he can't oversteer in until the tyres blow.

They did the V6 clio aswell, ph1 and ph2 iirc.

Imo they aint interested anymore. Unless it's a supercar it doesnt get a look in Think about how many Porsche's etc get shown, then think of any 'normal' everyday cars that get reviewd.... Bet over the last few years, the amount of normal car reviews could be counted on one hand.
