197 Slow Shutter



Had a play with my new led light wand, a few images merged together and it gave a good result.

Nice work, looks to be very evenly lit.

Light painting is a PITA if you're trying for an even finish!

It can yeah, the way I got around this is by taking 3 images at 13s shutter speed, highlighting a different area each time so the boot, side and front. Then using the darkest image as a base, I added the other two images as layers and adjusted the opacity to evenly spread the light across the car and erasing certain areas. It might be a long winded process but it eliminates getting shadows of yourself appearing and means you have full control of light highlights without having to use dodge and burn, exposure etc which can sometimes distort the image.
