Renault Clio Diesel
hello, i'm posting this on behalf of my dad who recently brought a 1992 Renault Clio RL Diesel as a cheap runaround.
the car works well but some of the bulbs on the dashboard had failed so yesterday we took the dashboard apart & replaced the low fuel warning bulb on the instrument display & the bulb behind the heater controls.
having reconnected the connections on the instrument binnacle the fuel gauge now goes straight to the full position when the ignition is turned on, this worked perfectly before & the tank is only about a quarter full. we have checked the connections & they seem fine & the fuel gauge was working fine before we had everything apart.
