LY 200 EDC
A year today I made the 566 mile round trip to trade in my Mk4 Clio Media Nav diesel for the Liquid Yellow Clio 200 EDC. In the week leading up to the deal I'd been on the phone to the salesman working out the finance numbers, I then took the punt to drive to Vospers in Plymouth to view it, test drive and end up buying.
I've had a brilliant year in it taking it to car shows and meets all over England, trackdays both here and in France. And a 4 day driving break through Belgium to the Nurburgring.
With a few minor tweeks along the way I can honestly say after a year it's still a car I'm glad to own, it feels great to get in and drive and does everything I want it to on and off the track.
NOVEMBER
On arrival at the dealer
Trading in the Media Nav
The day after buying
DECEMBER
Winter protection at Rons, new wiper blades which is a std new car ownership trait of mine. New front tyres. Cooksport springs fitted as the ride height on these are hideous. Mapped at RS Tuning with the ITG induction kit fitted. A busy month!
JANUARY
Resonator delete mod, new RS mats, gearbox software update at Renault.
