1st time with my das-6

  Honda & VW
As lots have suggested it's worth getting some old panels from a scrappy to practice on I was lucky enough to have a mate with a shonky van that he was more than happy for me to practice on.

I have fully washed it, clayed the entire van and re washed before drying thoroughly.

I assume I must be doing something wrong as I can't seem to make the trails of where I'm polishing the size of the pad if that makes sense. It's like only some of the pad it connecting which I don't understand as I have it flat.

I wasn't expecting to be a master after a few minutes but equally I can't believe I have got it quite right Nd so would appreciate some assistance.

Thanks in advance

Its not hard, using a DA, doesnt take long to get used to. You soon see how it works. Dave KG's guide is useful. I never bothered using a scrap pannel until I started using rotary and even then it was to test what kind of damage it could do.

well it turned out i got the hang of it pretty soon after my original post, towards the end i was getting well happy with my work. managed to finish it off and get waxed before the rain came down, literally rained just as i started getting all my stuff in. My mate was well chuffed with the results so thats good as it was a trial run.

Don't worry mate I didn't interpret it as being s**tty, you were right in saying it's easy to get used to it though.
