The older ones as you have have a metal/chrome finish. These do as you say rust/mark up pretty easily after a while.

The new replacements are plastic/painted.


From Renault they are approx £25 each.

Get a set from a scrappy, much cheaper

I bought two new ones from renault as mine were looking a bit shoddy. Cost about £38 for the pair, well worth it I reckon. apply a decent few layers of sealant/wax and they are well protected and have a more shiny appearance.

there is a paint code on the back of them rub them down and paint them. but dont use laquer

How do you remove them without breaking the clips?

use both hands put your thumbs on the top and fingers on the bottom and pull outwards from the bottom takes about a second to do . dont worry about using a little force , but they should just pop straight of .
