2 service books?

Hi guys, just bought a 59 plate Clio and noticed something I can't make sense of - this being that in addition to the actual service history book for the car there's also another service history book actually in the back of the owners manual. Just wondered firstly, why? And which of the 2 should I be getting stamped when I have the car serviced?

Lastly, does anyone know what's covered by the third year of manufacturer warranty?

they dont come with a service book, only the section for stamps in the owners manual, however i complained with my old GT DCi that i didnt get a service book and they gave me one on its own like you used to get with clio 2's so chances are someone has possibly done the same
