Just springs and dampers mate. Everything's interchangeable.

Finally coming round to the charms of the Cup chassis?

Nope. Just considering having a spare set of cup springs/dampers to throw on for each trackday.

There's no way the cup setup would work or be bearable on my commute.

So it's as simple as swapping springs and dampers...and that's it?

Nice.

First refusal on yours thankyou please.

Well, you can swap the racks over. It's not really something that's convenient though. lol.

Everything else is a straight swap.

Cost of coilovers vs cost of standard cup springs/dampers used from another member?

No setup or warranty issues, and to be honest, I've always felt Renault nail the setup as standard. Certainly more than enough for a fun day on track.

I think going from non-cup to cup is going to be quite a difference...something like 30% stiffer all round I think.

That'll do.

Dont get me wrong it sounds like a good idea if you can get them for a bargain price. I just wonder, if your exceeding the capabilities of the standard setup on track is the Cup setup going to be a big enough jump to satisfy? given the ball ache of swapping over before and after a track day.
