200 headlight defects

Since owning the car back in 2009 i have noticed strange water marks inside the headlight units themselves. It appears to be on the inside of the clear plastic and then also mirrored onto the reflective face. I wasnt to bothered before but now you can notice it from a distance and they seem to be getting worse.

First 2 were with the flash on so the light gets trapped in the marks on the glass just to show the size of the marks.

Like i said its on both head lights. The lights have never misted up and its on the inside of the clear plastic.

Just wondering if anyone has anything similar and is it worth contacting RUK

Was hoping i would never have to deal with the again. Might go a little further afield this time as they coursed more damage than they fixed with my previous claim

They are a pain in the arse but i would think RUK will tell you to go with them first and if they dont help, phone them back... You know that already though lol...

Took the car down to Mill Lane Renault in Aldershot today. Bit of a drive for me but i dont trust my local dealership one bit.

Good result hopefully. One of the engineers had a look over the headlight units and agreed it was bad but was unsure if enough to be covered under warranty. Luckily the warranty guy was just popping out of a meeting and came to have a look. Pictures were taken and they are being sent away so will hopefully hear something back soon.

Best result was i got the guy to have a look at my Recaros, and he said he was more than happy to put them forward to get the bases and maybe 1 bolster replaced. So should hopefully hear back about that as well. Which was a real good result because my recaros look brand new compared to some of the ones i have seen on here who have been refused replacements.
