2002 172 FF - How to fit new Handbrake Cable

My passengers side handbrake cable on my wee 172 broke yesterday.

Still have handbrake on drivers side.

Does anyone know how to fit the new cable ?

Is it easy enough ?

As am i correct in thinking that the middle of my exhaust sytem has to be removed to access the cables ?

Or is it a simple feed it through job from inside the car ?
