2002 Clio 172 Possible Clubsport?

Hello Fellows,

Does anyone on this forum know this car or live near Templecombe that is currently advertised on ebay.

it is a 2002 Clio 172 (VU02POV) with 55 thousand miles. If all was good I think it would make a great little Clubsport?

Any advice or information would be appreciated.

I believe a Clubsport is a nickname given by some of the fellows on the forum for a car that has had the rear seat removed, half-caged with motorsport seats etc.

Looks like a reasonably straight unmolested car that. Not ridiculous money either. If you buy it though, there is no mention of history. So make sure you budget for a bloody good service as one of the top RS specialists.

It's coming along nicely. Finally got it back after getting the safety devices rear cage fitted, clubsport seats, ktec sports cat and ktec top mounts . Oh and the new reg plate. Big thanks to rentec in Edinburgh for carrying out the work and getting it exactly how I wanted it.

It is used and on this Forum….it the latest trend du jour, basically bucket seats, rear cage, steering wheel and racer shifter.

probably the best hybrid for a road/light track clio
