2004 CLIO 182 - KTEC SUPERSPORT

  2004 Clio 182
Hi

New user of this so sorry if I am bringing up an old thread. I am about to replace my standand exhaust system (which is now blowing from about 3 places) with 99% certain to be a K-Tec Supersport after reading more reviews that What Magazine!

I assume that plenty of people on here have been in the same position as me, and I think I have chosen the right option (Other option was a Scorpion)

Just want to confirm with anyone who has done this, that it does indeed fit without any issues from the existing CAT and there are no mods needed when fitting it.

All feedback welcome.

Thanks

Went ahead and got the K-TEC and well impressed with the result. Very nice note, I can see why this seemed to be the popular choice.

I'm slowly starting to upgrade my car from a standard 182 Clio now.... what would everyone suggest would be the next best thing to tackle? Air Filter maybe?

Not a lot of gains to be had in the airbox region, if you want outright noise a Simota kit is good and comes with a CF surround which one would hope limits heat soak.

Otherwise I would suggest an ITG Panel filter.

There will be plenty of threads on here discussing induction kits etc. A lot of people go down the V6 airbox route, but there are mixed opinions there.

If you are looking for gains I'd say get yourself matched inlet mani's - one of the cheaper performance options... You will soon learn it is very expensive to get more power out of your Clio! :rasp:

Oh and welcome :star:
