Hi
I recently have had 2 issues,
1. My "STOP" and Battery lights cam on the dash and wouldnt go off
2. My Immobiliser sets and the car locks but there is a constant high pitched tone straight after and I have to unlock it to stop it, of course then it just starts auto locking and the same thing happens until I get in start the car move
forwards and then turn off and get out without locking.
They both happened at more or less the same time. I have now resolved the 1st issue after reading on here that it was most likely the alternator and having the guys at a well known motor store test the battery and advise it was ok but only had 11.2v going to it from the Alt.
Now I just need to sort the Immob. Any ideas anyone? I'm sure it must be a pretty common thing.
