2004 silver gearknob fitting

Hi all,

Ive just bought a 2003 Clio and wondered how easy it is to change the boring grey gearknob for a much nicer 2004 silver gearknob?

Do I have to cut the old one off?

yes, the clever guys ar Reno use glue on the gear knob so u have to cut it off.

of course u dont! just clamp the gearstick with mole grips or summit so the stick doesnt twist then snap the thing of with BRUTE FORCE!!! Worked for me anyways.

when i fitted mine i just did what hazzy said and just twisted mine off with my hands,
