2007 clio ICE?

I've got a Clio 1.2 Extreme with the default 2 speakers 2 tweeters setup + normal CD playback. Was thinking of upgrading to a new headunit for MP3 CD playback, and upgrade the speakers as well.

My questions -

Is the rear already wired up, so I can simply connect in speakers?
To get the "fingertip control" working on a new head unit, what must I get?
Where can I find the precise dimensions for the speakers I have, without measuring myself

-speakers are 13cm front and rear
-they should already be wired up,fish around for the wires behind the speaker grills on the rear,you will need to put new terminals on but apart from that dead easy
-the headunit you buy must be "steering remote ready" then buy the lead which fits your car and the patch lead for your make of unit

what youmean fingertip comtrol... and i guess the dimon model has the wires already there i no most models do not the base models, i have a lmtd edit etoile and thats got the rear speakers... either way if it doesnt then its virtually spading a few wires through the door cord... all the models have that and its really easy to do. also the size i think is 5.25" 13cm if im wrong all the sizes are on this forum just search

Reading your other thread, I'd have to get the following?

PC99-x12 adapter

PC99-PIO patch lead

Is that all needed for getting steering wheel buttons + heads up display working? Can I do this myself or is it tricky?

the display will not work,the leads are not available unless pioneer now do it but were talking £££s you will need to remove the dash top in order to use the autoleads ones,i would recommend the incartec ones or connects 2 ones (soon to be added) just plug in and no need for dash removal

So if we forget the display option, what do I have to get? I saw some incartec things but seems they cost £119? Is there not a cheaper version or another option?

Been speaking to my friend at Halfords, and he's got me on the track of opening the dashboard etc.

He said I'd have to buy the PC99x12 and simply connect it all up through the dashboard.

Will that work just like that then?

autoleads are cack dont use them.
that would be the patch lead in order for it to work for your radio

£50 for some wires just to get the Control Stalk working, Do you really need the Control Stalk? a lot of ppl just use their hands to change volume on the headunit themself.

I'm used to it now and can't turn back. It's not just the volume, but the track changer + pause button which are so handy.
