2011 Clio 1.2

Car  2011 Clio 1.2
Hi guys,

New to all this so be gentle.

Bought this in June this year, looks pretty smart as standard to be honest but wanna make it my own so to speak, any suggestions would be massivley appreciated, just want to make it look smarter/slicker if that makes sence.

Not even sure if this is the place to ask or not.

Only one picture at the moment, more to come...

Wouldn't do too much to it mate, perhaps silvervisions and a subtle drop :)

Really want some new mats and pedals, any reccomendations on what will suit well would be a big help.

Thanks,

Roughly the same as mine (mines silver and a TCE).

Debadge, get rid of the stickers, 45mm springs

Thanks guys, stickers and debadge sounds good, will smoothen that boot out, get rid of the renault badge too u reckon?

The badges come off really easily there held on with a sort of sticky pad if i remember rightly i just carefully pulled them off an old bank card may come in handy

tbh mate i think the look great standard only thing is the arch gap get some lowering springs and that is it, inside is nice with the piano black,

heres mine and my brothers gt, i have the same mats as martin in my gt just subtle things like that makes a big difference, also i would suggest wheel spacers cause they fit to far in on all the clios, also i put a renault sport steering wheel insert in just finishes the inside off nicely

Looks proper smart and clean! Tips or guides on how to do it please??

Start by heating the badge up with a hairdrier or heat gun for a couple of minutes, then using either fishing line or tooth floss, move it behind each of the letters until they come off (just held on with double sided adhesive) then use some WD40 and your nails to get the adhesive off. Takes about 10 mins

The only thing I dont like about fitting sport steering wheels into any non sport clio is the fact you have the steering wheel controls but they dont work...

i didnt fit the wheel its standard on a gt i only put the renault sport insert in but it had use all fooled so must be good haha, the buttons on the wheel are for cruise control which they do work in my car

for the badges on the back i just got a terminal screwdriver and gently prized them off took no work really and i didnt mark the paint work

I was thinking of getting the insert too, just finishes it off nicely.

So are those GT pedals available to buy anywhere?

So jobs to be done in the near future are...

Pedals
Mats
Steering Wheel Insert
Debadge the boot.

While these arent major changes, i think subtlety sometimes looks better.

Yeah im toying with the idea, im not majorly good at doing things like that to be honest, as i havent got a single clue about what u need to do etc...

Spray the silver mirror's the same colour as the car. I think it would look better anyways..
Why not get some dynamique alloys and have them black?
De-tango front and rear lights.
Definitely needs lowering a little.

Gonna get ripped into many pieces for saying this but... why not de-wiper it as well. After de-badging it it makes the rear end look a lot more tidy.

These dynamique s clios were cheap cheap on finance, why has yours not got the gloss black headuinit, all ours at work have?

I see, really needed it today though, back window was proper dewy lol.

Where abouts in DE are you from ?

Bought these today

Now the only problem is with the accelerator pedal, just a like clipped thing that swings off, is it safe/logical to put the pedal on top of the original :S
