I joined the revolution and bought this for our lass.

It’s fast. I’ve not driven anything remotely fast for a while so it does feel genuinely fast!

My final volvo is up for sale now so am going to be a volvo free household for the first time in a long time.

I've said this before, but for real world driving my 430D was a better can than my M4 and probably the "best" car I've owned.

Plenty quick enough, handled well for a wafty diesel, cheap as chips to run and it never let me down. Not a single repair (that I can think of anyway) in nearly 5 years / 50k.

Get it mapped if it isn't already as that made a big difference, but other than that enjoy!

Welcome aboard, I've had 4 different 330d's now LOL.

It would look better with the wheels in a different colour IMO, not a fan of black wheels personally, but it's not mine so...

I think it’s mapped but no proof. It certainly feels mapped to me but then again, I’m used to driving 80bhp Volvos.

By no means a sure fire way of checking, but what numbers do you have displayed on the iDrive sport dials? And what number do they supposedly go up to under full load? Might tell you whether it's been messed with or not.

Being a pre-facelift I doubt it'll have the sport dials. My old one didn't and when coded it didn't do anything?

Ahh OK. I don't know whether the 3's are different to the 4's then, but mine was a 2014 pre-facelift and did have them.

@leeds_182 Does it have the pro nav or business nav? Business nav doesn't have sport dials, so I'm assuming this would be why...

My 63 plate 135 with pronav had sports dials, and from memory they went up to 400bhp.

Love these. Genuinely impressive motors. I had use of one for a while when they first came out. I was driving an e90 335d and it wiped the floor with it. Perhaps not figures wise, but arse-dyno wise it felt strong. Only drawback was the steering felt better on my e90, but in isolation (and for a daily) you can't fault them.
Yours being a wagon and white looks the absolute business!

What's the going rate for one of these with sub 80k miles? Saloon or wagon (or even 4 series coupe).

You can get a white silver or red one with no spec for £13k.
Or you can get a nice colour one with a load of spec for £22k.
Then there’s the ones in between.

Still f***s be off that when my 430D was nicked, I only got a £15k payout (plus a little more with the ombudsman’s help). That was nearly 3 years ago, it was only on around 50k at the time and had practically every desirable option 😡

Jesus that's a lot more than I thought. Still strong money aren't they!

Saloons start from around £10k, estates from around £13k, for an M Sport, but prices can vary massively depending on spec, age, miles, etc.

Just go on AutoTrader and look.
