205 50 16 on a 172

I've got a set of track tyres sitting in the garage but they are 50 profile and not 45. Has anyone run these on a 172 with coilovers fitted and what were your experiences.

I use 195 50 r16 with lowered suspension and they rub on the arches so 50's will rub for sure on any corner or dip on the track.

I guess a 205/55/r16 will be undriveable on a lowered 172 then ?
