I agree with most sentiments here, the 205 GTI was a superb handling car. I was fortunate to own one when I was 19 years old. At the time my brother owned R5 cheeky Turbo, which was also a thrilling drive in it's own way. I decided some 8 years after to buy another 1.9, as my memories were fond.
After owning it for some 7 months, I just realised how cars had moved on in terms of comfort and saftey. However loved the raw performance and good looks. I think part of my move to buy RS Clio was because of the pug. Which in it's own right can give you the same thrills, if you have the balls to push the envelope! Which I haven't, because I have more than myself to worry about.
