Yup, its now got a (Fingers crossed) non blowing non weld-splitting 4" slashcut, sounds really nice and does the job :)
Excellent, look forward to hearing it, well at least until it makes my ears bleed that is. Any piccies yet? Im not sure how the slash cut would look on the 172. The only one Ive seen so far was a really badly mounted one at Trax.

Philip from your experince, what do you think you wil gain from a de-cat and exhaust? 5 hp? Philip do you live near York? Would love to see your car on the strip, might get into the 13s!:D

All good things come to those who wait....

philip knows the score ;) Hes had the suspension mods I talked about ages ago put on his Cup... he knows the 210 mods are from a pukka source...

Hi Neil, Im afraid its a negative to most of your questions. I have no idea what you will get from exhaust and decat (my car still has theoriginal cat for now). I live in London. The car will never find itself on a strip (as long as I own it). However you can find it regularly on the track, but thats a very different experience :D

hmmmm so, my guess is.......

Headwork, inlet work, cams, increased throttle body diameter, map tweeks to suit.

Injectors - I hope so.

If youve done it without the injector changes you are running in the danger zone of leaning out if anything happens to an injector, normally you should run 80% of the injectors max, so on the standard ones thats 80% of (4x52) which is 166bhp, now the absolute max they are meant to push is 208, so either youve increased the fuel pressure to suit, or changed injectors..... hopefully the latter.

dunno but with head and cams i think that could push a lot!

maybe he got an overpowered one in first place

I consider this post a LAD conversion topic until I see it on rollers. All this secrecy bullsh*ts boring.

Mine was totally standard apart from a Pipercross Viper and had only done about 4500miles at the time too, so still tight and it keeps getting better! ;)

For some reason my car has loads of mid-range power & torque, but is restricted at higher revs.
