he fixed it himself out his own pocket, runs spot on now and has been for the last month or so lol!! poor thing is flat out everywhere now!

it went into progrip and had the subframe re fitted properly, alignment all sorted out 100%, arnold clark agreed to put 2 new tyres on it as one was completely destroyed, arnold clark agreed this was just a goodwill gesture as the reason one was destroyed was the shorter driveshaft spinning up a wheel was what had caused it to go completely bauld in the inner edge (however martin has done 4000 even harder miles now and its wore both tyres completely even!!)front brakes were stripped off and both inner pads were siezed in the callipers (think fred @ BTM suggested that) - later turned out after 10 trips to the dealership complaining of braking issues.... arnold clark didnt once check the braking system or remove the callipers???

So basically, check subframe and check callipers, job done.

just shows that these places are not interested at all.

Renault never admit mistakes, they just release moddified parts and hope no one notices!

top mount washers
new cambelt kits
etc etc

they don't even say the brakes need removal, cleaning and refitting on a service FFS
