220bhp

Who was it that was on here a while ago saying they were developing a kit for the 172 that churned out 220bhp, or there abouts without changing the exhaust? I remember they were being very secretive about it. Think they also said the price of the kit was around £1500.

So what do you recken for 200bhp? head work, cams, inlet mods, bigger TB, and a serious remap with a piggy back?

220bhp would be far easier although more expensive on throttle bodies.

Running the std inlet manifold arrangement the max you really want to bother with is 210bhp.

How ? The 172s rarely kick out 172 at the fly if ever how did you manage 184.7 from a standard 182 have Renault got their act together or do you have mods lurking under the bonnet?

To get 200hp on a Clio 172, you will need to modify: air intake + ECU + camshafts + exhaust (full modified exhaust line).

To go over 200hp naturally aspirated is expensive on the Clio Sport.

A French well known car tuner, Pouchelon, based in the south of France will son tune the 182hp version up to 210hp, with modified suspensions.

The car will be shown in "Echappement", a well known paper magazine in France.
