This dude in Tokyo runs one as a road car (R30WRC), mega props.

I sold my Ex works WRC car for £80k a couple of years ago to a guy in Japan , quite a few guys over there are buying ex-works cars , he bought it as an occasional track / road car !
He also had a 22B and was trying to do me a swap saying his 22B was actually worth more than my WRC cars , since then the WRC cars have also shot up in price.

This was my car , had it 3 years , and did a lot of rallies in it





Sold it to go towards buying some land and built a house

Bought a Impreza version 5 type R at the right time before prices started going mad , and although there was zero rust on it , decided to turn it into a WRC lookalike for the road , it has a full carbon fibre body kit fitted to it , and painted WRC blue , just need to find the time to do the finishing touch's , it's been 2.5 years in the making .

Hi Made a start on my Type R friday , if you've seen Jamie's thread on the amazing job he's done on making the Carbon Fibre bodykit , I decided to take the plunge and go for one , quite a daunting job stripping down a perfectly good Type R , especially as the rear quarters need cutting off ...
