24k Service advice

I've just been quoted £260 for a 24k service from a Renualt main dealer. Am I right in thinking this is way too much?

Can anyone recommend anyone else in the Herts/Essex/Cambs area that will do the service for me for less?

Ring other dealerships.

However does you car also need the AUX belt chnaging or brkaes bleeding etc as they all push the bill up.

I need the coolant changed - they want an extra £70 for that alone... May well end up taking it to an independant. Will it make a difference at re-sale if it's non-Renault stamps in the service book?

Yep..if it's 4 years old the coolant & brake fluid will need doing as well along with the usual 24k stuff
