25 mpg ?

What kinda driving? I get 21mpg all city driving - motorway the trip says 40mpg but it's more like 36mpg

are u working it out or only going by the computer ?

That's not right I've been getting 38mpg with mixed driving and taking it over 5k regularly too.

38mpg from the trip comp or u worked it out? I worked it out n only got 36mpg on a 200 mile motorway trip with the odd occasional 100 blast - maybe change ur front 02 sensor or get it checked mines was alot better after i replaced it

I get on average 30/32 mpg out of mine.

Reset your trip computer, drive like you do and double check!

I boot it everywhere and get 20, the op needs to tell us what type of driving he's doing

Dont trust the computer lol, fill it full and work out ur average over a full tank - if u hold down trip comp button and start car it will tell u how many litres u have left so u can work out ur mpg

I get between 30 and 33mpg with mix of town and dual carriageway driving. On the motorway get 40+mpg doing 70.

Doesn't sound right, my 200 trip comp is showing 25 mpg from a mix of pootling about town/kicking it's head in, and they're a bit thirstier than MK2s.

I get 52mpg @ an average speed of 49mph.

I never dropped below 35mpg on my borders blast and I was hooning it to say the least!

i never check my average speed gaz, I forgot about that but I think it's around 18mph maybe less. £50 gets me 230 miles

I live in the middle of nowhere so plenty of back roads, BUT I'm in Preston alot of the time which nothing but town driving, stopping, starting, starting, etc....

I just don't really drive like a hero everytimesnd get average 32mpg.

Now I'm not looking a for some sort of debate pal, I've had a bevvy and get defensive, lol!

But if it is just town driving involving stop, start, stop, start. Then yeah damn right understanable!

my computer says 25mpg and average speed 14 mph like everyone else i give it abit but not flatout everywhere but it is all town driving no motorways atall as it only get driven on the weekend also it been on a diagnostic machine and it doesnt say anything is wrong just thought they might be thirsty
