250cc motorcycle road race NW200

Has to be one of the most amazing and emotional motorcycle road races ever.

Robert Dunlop, brother of the legendary Joey, was killed in practice for this race last Thursday,when his bike had mechanical failure at over 160 mph. His two sons were both entered also. Michael only 20, decided to race in tribute to his father.

I was in the stand at York Corner for the whole NW200.

The atmosphere during the 250 race was electric.

Big respect to Michael, how he had the strength to ride totally evades me.

When he won the whole 9 mile course erupted in applause......
