Im picking up some alloys on sunday, but there 2nd hand, and theres slight curbing to some of them (will have them refurbed)

But im worried about not knowing the history of the alloys, is it possible there could be a hairline fracture in them? and if so that alloy would then be useless?

Should i get them checked before i buy?

I think youd be ok .

I dont know how you would chck them realy unless you have NDT carried out on them (expensive and need the tyres taken off) and alloys are quite strong so I cannot see how you would crack on in normal use

Youd see some serious dent damage on them before they got a hair line fracture. If there is only slight curb damaged then I would have thought theyd be ok.
