3 cylinder

ive sorted my dodgy idling out now on my new engine.but it only seems to be firing on three cylinders as i pull the 4th plug out and nothing seems to change,the revs dont drop.anyone know what it could be as it seems to be sparking?

if you have a spark on that cylinder then its either an injector problem or lack of compression on that cylinder.have you removed the plug and checked/swapped it?

yeah i swaped the plug and changed it with one of the others but it was still the same

what about swapping the plug lead just to make sure its not that.have you removed the dizzy cap and inspected the contacts?

There are little spark tester kits you can get which sit between the HT lead and the spark plug. About a fiver from Halfords.

Better than guessing.
