My awesome car which had 240bhp was quicker than a 400bhp of the car your talking about:rasp:
ive turbo'd my 172 cup with forged internals and 4paddle clutch running 0.8bar boost now but need bigger turbine housing on turbo to go thurther even tho k-tec promised me 300bhp easy it only managed 260bhp with 260 lbft done the ring and croft like that and no major probs ...but really want an gripper diff, does anyone know the ratio of the standard diff on the 172 ?
Any problems at all?
I know a few are running turbo conversions with this kind of power. Worried about gearbox and clutch TBH and anything else it could effect?

That kind of boost would equal big torque, which would crumble the gearbox. Presuming uprated clutch and forged internals, I guess the rest would be ok. Obviously you're going to increase general wear and tear on the entire drivetrain though. Just buy an awesome car that already has 300bhp?![]()
Didn't someone put a DCi box in there RS as it was stronger in some way?
